Summer Reads 2014

Whether lounging on the beach, sipping icy beverages poolside, or retreating into the blissfully air-conditioned depths of the indoors, there’s something truly excellent about reading in the summertime. You have to do something with the extended daylight, anyway, right? I asked the rest of the LT staff to help me compile a list of our favorite summer reads for 2014. Check them out!

    I resist the notion that there are some books that are better in summer, because they’re “vacations” somehow. Blech! I don’t need a vacation from “hard” books. Any book worth reading is a summer book.

      For Tim: I don’t think that’s what you are really saying. What I hear is that you believe there is no such thing as summer books period. So why respond to the topic at all?
