How do I add fields to my catalog, like Western, Romance, Historical, Research etc. Plus I have some of my husbands books listed and I want them under his name not mine. Is that possible?
Thanks.
You can add subjects and other information about your books to the Tags field–you can’t create custom fields on LibraryThing, I’m afraid, but those sound like classic tag names to me! Here’s some details on how you can use Tags: https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/Tags.\
Depending on how separate you’d like to keep your and your husband’s books, you can either set up a new account for him on LibraryThing (sign out, go to http://www.librarything.com and click “Join Now”), or, if you’d like to keep them in the same account, you can set up a custom Collection for your husband’s books. Details on Collections can be found here: https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/Collections.
Please email us at info@librarything.com if you have any further questions!
